Description
These super thick wax foundation sheets are perfect to cut up and use as starter strips (typically get between 8-10 each sheet). Each sheet is 16.5″ long by 7.75″. These are slightly too short for standard deep frames but can be cut down for mediums or shallow frames and still have 3-4 starter strips left over as well.
These sheets are slightly shorter but due to being thicker than your average foundations, they make perfect starter strips for drawing out new frames or cut comb honey in supers.
Sheets come in packs of 10, 30, or 240 and are un-cut.
Also work great for candle making!

I love these sheets. I make my own frames for Layens hive. I cut a groove and place a 1/2 inch strip in the groove. I just push the strip in the groove The thickness of the foundation makes it easy to push the strip into the groove without any problems. You only need to have 1/4 inch showing for the bees to work on to get started. It’s February 2022, and I’m ready to order more because I have been building more frames. Can’t wait to catch more swarm in North Georgia this March and April. I can’t find these thick foundation no where else. Great price.
